Step 1

EMERGENCY REQUEST

No matter the day or time we will answer your call. Our staff will have a few questions for you. The more we are able to understand your situation the better we can prepare a game plan for your loss. Questions like- Is the water still running? Is the source of the leak known and fixed?

Step 2

ON-SITE EVALUATION AND WATER DAMAGE ASSESSMENT

When we arrive our technician will evaluate your home for any potential hazards. Tons and tons of pictures will be taken at every step of your loss and saved in your file from here on out. Then, we will assess the severity of the water damage at hand. We will use the best industry tools such as thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters. Your tech will be able to find wet walls that are not visible to the naked eye. These tools will help paint a picture of what was affected and where the water traveled. Having a clear and concise moisture map of your water damage will result in the success of your mitigation.

Step 3

WATER REMOVAL

Our teams are set up to extract water from your home. Removing water as soon as possible to help prevent more areas in your home from being affected. Depending where the water came from and situation ; We can save your carpet, pad, tile, cabinets, and walls. In this step - we are also evaluating closer what items are damaged. Do you have books on the floor? Furniture that is soaking up the water? What can we move and save?

Step 4

CONTAINMENT AND STABILIZING

At this point there isn’t standing water, and no soggy carpets. Now, the high humidity in your home will start causing secondary damage. It can start damaging areas that were not affected to begin with and further damaging areas already affected. To prevent secondary damage in your mitigation process we’ll need to stabilize. Our team will create a thick plastic barrier, enclosing the affected rooms. You’ll be seeing machines brought in - dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, air movers etc.

Step 5

DRYING

Assuming that there was no demolition needed in your home. Our tech will set up dehumidifiers and air movers in the affected areas. Monitoring will be done daily to ensure 2 things. 1. The equipment is running and working properly. 2. That we are progressing. Techs are logging moisture levels, if no change is seen adjustments are made. The duration of the drying process varies from project to project, variables can emerge etc. **bonus tip** Equipment does run 24/7 - therefore there will be a noticeably higher bill BUT talk to your insurance adjuster, in our experience we have seen many homeowners reimbursed.

Step 6
